How's this?

It's underexposed and a little blurry. What was the shutter speed?

1/160 shutter, ISO 400, f/11, 55mm focal length.

I like the use of only two colours; you got your focus point right, too. It's a good start!

What are the multiple bright points in the centre of the flower? They look too sharp and bright to be pollen.

Do you see those on other images aswell? It kind of looks like the pixels in the centre of the sensor might be dead.

I just went in the garden and checked the flowers with a magnifying glass; the bright points are in fact pollen.

Ahhh - phew!

Well, I'll not talk technical stuff, I'll talk composition a little...

The flower is a bit too centered I think. You'd be better moving to the left a little and getting a greater sense of depth. Like, with other flowers in the background moving up and across in a diagonal.

You could crop the flowers to the left of the main flower I think. They are a distraction. Yeah, looking at it again, I think there is a little too much around the flower distracting us. Maybe try a crop?
