seems a bit soft. From the exif data looks like it could be motion blur unless you've got IS on the lens. 1/50 at a focal length of 135 on a 40D is too slow. At an ISO of 400 you could've bumped it to get a clear shot and removed noise in pp. Also seems like your aperture is a bit small at 6.44. I would've opened it as wide as the lens would let me. Both to increase available light and to shorten the DoF.

Just a point; the IS doesn't help if it's motion blur ie. subject movement. If it's camera shake, than the IS would help.

nice framing.. but its a tad dark, a bit soft and needs to be color corrected.... (I know the lighting was probably horrible so probably none of it is your fault - except maybe the blur - just needs some post to make it a bit better)
