Was #3 coming over a crest? I THINK it is given it's Barber, but not sure.

That Dallara front end looks absolutely hideous (I'm guessing it's a Dallara, but the side profile looks so much like a Riley). I thought most DP cars look quite ugly, but this one takes the cake.

Not really, it is an elevation change in a corner, turn 14a (I think) Your right about the ugliness of the DP cars and I hate the front end on the SunTrust car too.

I have no opinion on the asethics of the cars, but those shots are WOW. Very sharp very cool angles.

Nice job, Jamie.

Well I think it looks hideous too at the front, and the drivers head in 2 is well down so could surely lose some height of the top which also looks rubbish.Perhaps I should change my job and design racing cars.:)
As for the pics.
I like one for the angles and heat haze coming off the leading car,and 4 for the open ,empty spaces the car is driving into.

Thanks Becky & Pons.

FWIW the horizon is level in the first shot. There is a nice change in elevation coming out of turn 1 (or pit out) into turn 2's decreasing radius.

Good to see they got a new car after their hauler burnt down.

Thanks. It is a great track to shoot. Here is a look at some of the sculptures at the track. Mr. Barber runs a tight ship.;)

I didn't even know that. Cool.

After the race in california they were hauling their equipment back to their garage in Indiana (i think that's where) and the hauler caught fire and destroyed everything. It was something like 2 cars and 4 or 5 motors, tools, computers. For the next race at Watkins Glen they used borrowed equipment. I heard them thanking the Ganassi (sp?) team for the car. They were the poll sitter at the glen with the borrowed car too.

That was nice of the Ganassi team. I guess they got everything replaced by Barber then because it was all tagged with Suntrust. They were on the pole at barber too.
