That blur is a curious looking thing. Kind of spirals like a Slinky.

I'll be honest and say I haven't got a clue about that blurred spirally pattern!

;)

It's on several frames so it's really there, but try as I might I can't figure it out - and this is a place I visit many times a year.

The red in the BG is a red-tiled roof, and there was a large shrub with a heavy crop of small white flowers in the general area - but this doesn't look like a flowering shrub...

I think I'll have to take another look tomorrow.

Thanks, Rose - I like posting stuff up occasionally to show what can be done with the "soft" 100-400mm and the "soft, noisy, badly focusing" 40D..!
