Practice at the brickyard

So today was the first day of practice at the Brickyard. I didnt have anything to do so I grabed my camera, and headded to the track. I have lived in Indiana all my life and never been to the tack when there are cars running on it (I have been for other occasions, never a motorsports race though) It was alot tougher than I thought it was going to be to get some of the shots I wanted, the fence kept getting in my way, and I did not have a press pass to get to all the good spots, but oh well, I got by...here are some of my images from today:

it was my first time attempting any sort of photography like this......gear used was my 30d and 70-200 The second and third image are crops from about the size of the last....standing in the infield looking trough a fence with the cars in turn 1 entering the short shoot...The JR pic is entering turn 2...so How did I do?
