This was the first time I had taken my lights out of the studio. A mate of mine, Ante boxes with his mate John for fitness and cuts hair for his other mates for fun. I badly needed a haircut, so the exchange of "photo-shoot for a haircut" seemed like a pretty good deal!

ha! delka i thought someone may ask that! funny thing is i didn't get any :( safe to say i am stoked with it and everyone else says it looks better than it did!

irish, are you taking pics in a gym or a ring or a garage? i found it pretty hard to get a good background in a garage - too much going on in there; things hanging off walls, leaning against walls etc etc...

will be in a ring and gym. i been asked by the local amature club to take some pics for their club room. i like that last pic, think i mite copy that style for some of the shots. think i will be shooting a sparing session or two, have you any tips for me ?

well my shoot was with my elinchrom lights, so i couldn't go too high in terms of shutter speed, but depending on the light you have to work with i would go with a high shutter and don't be afraid to get in close!
