Duck Hunt:

Are there many ducks in Arizona? Do they migrate South in the winter like all the old people?

Interesting bird. What species is it?

That's what I'm here for ;)

I got my first NES for Christmas when I was 8. Pretty much played and mastered Super Mario Bros until my thumbs fell off. I soon after got Duck Hunt with the gun. I used to hate that dog. Always laughing at me! LMAO.

This is a guillemot, great catch. Look like black guillemot to me, but could be some other similar species, since Im not familiar with US birds.

Oops, I just realized this was with the XSi.

Yep, it's a guillemot ... it was taken in the arctic on a recent trip to Svalbard. We were in a zodiac, and the bird was very close, so this wasn't cropped. It was taken at 200mm (x 1.6) with the 55-250mm IS lens - 1/650 sec @ f/6.3, ISO 400. To put it in context, here's another shot:

Here's my "almost duck" photo with the 40D. I believe this is a glaucous gull - even I know this one isn't a duck :o. Taken with the 40 D and 100-400 lens @ 365mm, 1/1000 sec @ f/5.6 ISO 400.

My apologies for getting so far off track - didn't mean to be misleading. There must be ducks in Arizona - I'll have to get to the zoo soon.
