Thanks for the kind words, even if I did miss Regan Smith's bouncing his car off the south short chute wall. 
That Elliot Sadler image shows how sideways those cars get at the Speedway. The shooting location, in the penthouse seats high above the entrance to the first turn, is one I've been wanting to try for a couple of years. It would be nicer if there wasn't a big metal screen that blocks a clear view of part of the first turn.
Ground level images will be the order for race day. The new first turn area is tempting, there appears to be a new clear view on the inside of the second turn, and the spectator area inside of the third turn is open for a stock car race for the first time in years. I may not get much use out of my grandstand seat...
