thanks, yeah I guess it does have that old skool feel. The bowl my friend is 5-0 ing was built in the early 70's, so I gues its appropriate. I'm in the full swing of summer at the moment, but It took a while to get here ( New Zealand).

Although I'm not in to skateboarding, I like both shots a lot. Good job!

I like these mainly because my BF skates, and it's really fun to watch. I don't take many pics of skateboarding but I took a few recent shots at a local skate park when my brother was riding his bike there... But, it was kinda dark so I didn't get any action shots.

Nice pics! I really like the second one! I also like the first one but feel it could have used a little more light. I take skate photos too! http://skatephotos.info (external link)

What kind of setup do you have?

oops can't edit so-
p.s. if you can, you might want to use second curtin sync with your flash- it changes direction of the light trails-

I have a Fujifinepix S2 Pro, 16mm fisheye, 50mm, 28-105mm and a 100-300mm a couple of flashes, some slave cells and a bunch of other crap. It works okay, I also have a Nikon F4s body, which I used to shoot with, but Digi has taken over!
I don't take much skate photography anymore (cos it don't pay tha bills yall, knowhai'msayin?!) but I have a go when the opportunity arises.
