Went out tonight and took some pictures of my brother-in-law's M3. I Like it :)

Thanks!!!

It was a pretty simple setup.

I picked oout a good spot on the top of the garage that had clean back ground. Then there were a lot of lights. I could of shot it with just that. But i used my 580ex and 430ex. Put the 430 ex on my right at 1/4 power aiming towards the left as a slave. Then with my 580ex on hot shoe cord i held it on the left side aimed right as the master. That was also on 1/4.

That just gave it some extra pop and filled in.

All was on tripod, with 30D and 24-70 at or near 70 with Circ Polarizer.

Nice shots!

Personally, I would have liked a little more/higher light on the hood and roof to bring the car out a little more.

Not bad, but the roof needs a lot more light in all of the pictures. Its a silver roof getting lost in a black background. Set the flashes a bit higher next time. The body seems lit OK, its just the roof that needs help.
