I am using a 5D with a 580 EX on a Stroboframe. I just got a grip and now I need a new bracket for it to fit right. I haven't been able to find a thread or any photos of a 5D with a bracket AND grip... does anyone do this? What bracket would work best? I do wedding photography mostly. Thanks!

Which Stroboframe are you currently using?

Check out the Newton brackets. Bob Newton manufactures a variety of brackets designed to accomodate multiple camera configurations, with just about all the extra accessory pieces you would need.

This is the one that I bought 2 years ago for my 5D and 580ex.

This is the really compact one:

thanks, I will check into those! I have a very simple Stroboframe. I bought it years ago, it only has a basic logo on it. It is just a bit to short for the hot shoe with the cord attached. Plus when I turn it vertical it goes left and I need it to go right... It's been a great bracket, but with my new toys no longer meets my needs!

Just asking because the Stroboframe Quickflip 350 works fine with my 1DMkIIN, so I would assume it would work fine with a gripped 5D.
