The UK members in particular would have read about the death of Barry Westmoreland at the Cadwell Park HSCC meeting. He died coming over the Mountain and the car came to rest only a few feet from where I was taking shots.

Shots of Barry have appeared in my library over many years. I decided to take one of the shots I had from his last racing day at Cadwell and ask Steve Jones the press officer at Oulton Park to produce a watercolour from it.

The watercolour will be framed and passed onto the HSCC, and susequently Barry's family.

I have taken the following shot of the watercolour before framing, when the glass makes it more difficult.

Very nice Ken, a lovely thing to do.

Sad to hear of anyone dying while doing what they (and us!!) love.

Thoughts to family and friends.

RIP Barry

Kind regards,
Andy

What a tremendously thoughtful gesture on your part Ken.

That's a great idea you had, Ken. I'm sure that they'll love it!
