Love the shot Jamie, I'm a sucker for race car on a winding track.

Morning folks!

Jamie, I like the shot a lot. I like the sharp car although something about the blurry trees messes with my eyes.

Good Morning All! I hope you all had a goodnights sleep!

Well I have my interview today at 2:30. I'm nervous. Not only about that but the nausea sets in during the afternoon. :). Wish me luck LOL.

Have a GREAT day!

Good luck with it Ginger, nothing to worry about.

Just did a gas mileage check on out Mazda yesterday and it was 14.8, that's no wear near the window sticker of 19 and 24. Our mini van pulled off 20 city and 27 highway I guess I'm missing something. I used to beat our van driving because it was old, I drive the new truck very gingerly just because it's new. I'm not so happy to say the least.....

Jamie, I think that's a great composition. Personally, i might do some dodging/burning to help draw the eye to the car. And I know it's a panning shot, but in the high res version is the car soft? It's hard to tell on the small version.

Thanks. The car is sharp in the high res.

Jeff Allred wrote in post #6017343 (external link)
Looks sharp to me, and the composition is nice, but I feel there is a bit too much fg, but you did well with what ya had :)

Thanks for the opinion Jeff. I was trying to convey the spectators view and show the track.

JakPot wrote in post #6017415 (external link)
you know, i bet that shot would look cool if it were cropped to a panorama ratio 2:1

Interesting thought. I'll have to play with that and see what you guys think then.

Good morning everyone. Nice shot Jamie - it would look great as a pano - cutting out the empty sky and a bit of the sand trap.

Thanks.

'Allo all. Jamie, I really like the shot, and like how the sandtrap frames the bottom of the shot.

Thanks.

Thanks Tiff. The trees are supposed to be blurry. It is a wide pan. The blurry trees lend to the i(a)llusion of movement.

That sucks. Sorry.

You're not going to believe this but my new car is leaking. We got a torrential downpour and some water leaked in by the sunroof. Apparently it's an easy fix. I just find it funny.

Jamie, I like the shots. I realize why the blur is there it just caught my eyes wonky this morning.

Time to battle for a nap early. Someone is really cranky and it's not me.

Jamie it's really cool how you turned the orange car to white in the 2nd crop, really gives it a different look. I am a fan of all of them personally, you make some decent sized prints and hang them up I think they would look great.

Isn't photoshop great?

Yeah I think the pano is a nice look. I doubt I will print these though.
