You take your meds today, or are you off them now? Just wondering, you're running out of days to capture your profile.

I'm posting this for Jeff and Natalie....

This is my wife and me about 35 years ago.......

we weren't always old and wrinkled, and could almost pass for human. It is true.......time flies when you're having fun, and anyone who tells you they wouldn't want to go back to those early days is lying. I'd love to do it all over again. I wouldn't change a thing.

I don't believe you. You probably would have gotten a better DSLR with "L's" right away. Maybe changed to Nikon even. Stayed clear of Buick, or are you an Oldsmobile man. Stayed away from that bad seafood perhaps?

I think you would "Tweak" your past a bit if you could.

You kids are quite the lookers. Feeling a bit sentimental the day before your birthday are ya? Anyhow thanks for sharing.

Funny....we actually had a Buick for a while. A 1956 Specieal. We bought it through my wife's uncle. A friend had owned it since new, and we got it as a second car around 1965. The thing was a tank, but it was a very safe, comfortable car. We finally got rid of it when we discovered the entire exhaust system had to be replaced, and that would have cost more than we paid for the car. My preference woud have been Oldsmobile, but I never owned one.

The only cars I owned that I considered mistakes were just about everything I owned between 1970 and 1989....mostly Cadillacs and Mercedes. In fact, we had new cadillacs in 1972, 1974, 1976, 1977, 1979, and 1981. Each one was worse than the last. I then switched to Mercedes and learned all about $1,000 oil changes. In 1989, we bough a Jeep Cherokee, and life became good again.

I really don't regret any of my camera decision enough to mention any of them......not even the 50 f/1.2L:lol:

And you stuck with the Caddies why? Even Mercedes didn't have an overly impressive track record in the 70's and 80's. The Jeep is a far cry from your previous vehicles, but are probably more comfortable now a days to travel in.

Neither car was my first choice. We were in the real estate business in Silicon Valley, and nearly everyone was driving Caddies back then. Our last one was a 1981 Seville. That car literally fell apart underneath us. We actually gave it away with less than 70,000 miles on it. The engine was blown, most of the electrics weren't working, and on, and on. Absolute junk
