Yup keeps me super busy all day long, have so little time to do anything. But I do make sure to leave promptly at 4:30.

I'll trade you for a day? I'd love to leave promptly at any given time.

lol I don't gamble. I suck at card games in general. Wait I can play a mean game of War
I could totally make you feel old Chet but I'm gonna be nice

You do quite well at "Beep Beep." Btw, DD is totally catching on to that, FINALLY.

I don't gamble either. I like my money safely in my camera bag.

Ditto.

:( I am old. No one else in here graduated H.S. in 1985.

Shoot Chet, my PARENTS practically graduated in 1985.

Hey guys I hope everyone is having a good evening.
I have a super random question. If a bride and a groom have a casino themed wedding can they have guests buy in for real cash and cash out at the end of the night and any money made go towards the bride and groom? Or is that gambling and illegal. The only reason I ask is because Kyle's fire department does the same thing but it's a fund raiser. The question was brought up to me and I haven't the faintest.

hmmm that is an interesting question. gambling IS illegal in most states, unless you have a license for it. sometimes you can get around it with something closer to a raffle, or 'competition' it all depends on the wording in the rules. the FD can likely get away with more then your bride and groom. that doesn't really answer your question. but that's as good as I got.

I missed this one last nigh and I agree, it's an interesting question. Here in Illinois gambling is kind of funny. It's illegal unless your the state or a large casino, or a horse track, or conected to the boys, or a church, but it is all over the place. I found this web site that spells out some of the details:
http://www.gambling-law-us.com/State-Laws/Illinois/ (external link)
It pretty much says that unless you paid off a public official, your screwed. :):)

Ok, it doesn't really say that but I too am in Illinois and I know how things work. I'm sure that if you tried to get a legal license to do this all kind of stuff will be thrown in your way and it will take forever. But if you just did it I don't think any Illinois politician is going to arrest a bride and groom on their wedding day and as long as it stays within the folks participating at the party, no one is the wiser.

Morning folks. I'm pooped. I had a great evening with the boys but the night sucked. I'm running on about 4 hours sleep and I require more than that. Ugh.

Mornin Tiff. Sorry your tired. But fold your arms on your desk, place you head there, and take a nap. Try not to drool. :)
