Butterfly Pavillion

Went to the butterfly pavillion event held at the Los Angeles Natural History museum. Here are a few keepers. I tried something different and went for slower shutter speeds.

Gorgeous - and I think the slow shutter works well!
For my personal taste, Nr. 3 has too little of the Butterfly in Focus, but I love the others! Great job!

Thanks. I wasn't sure about number three, but it seems like an impressionist painting for me.

:c) True, the wing stroke is gorgeous. I would have just loved the butterflies head in focus :c)...
But the colours are great, too :D Hmm.. Now you made me want to go to our own butterfly house here in Vienna...
