Hi, owned a 350d for some time and always been a keen snapper but latley my pal and I have been yearning for knowledge... We have some big idea's planned for shoots..

We want to learn as much as we can about the art of taking that perfect shot..

So there's me, I'm inspired by many of the awesome shots throughout these forums and have already taken some idea's and tried to utilise my equipment to replicate some effects..

Anyways, i waffle on.. I just thought i'd make my first post.... this shot was taken off me by my pal with my camera... Just as the water (icy cold) was blown back into my face... a shock i can tell ya...

i like it, the B&W conversion is nice, good dark rich blacks

i think what would of really made the picture is if more water was hitting him, from this angle it is hard to tell

It might be my screen, but it almost looks like the point of focus was behind you and not on your face?

I'll bet that cold water was a shocker!
