When I click on this link http://www.newtoncamerabrackets.com/ (external link) it brings up a username/password sign in. How do I get to the site to contact him if I can't 'log in'??? Anyone?

Hmmm, so what do I do? I keep reading posts on here and other sites to talk to Robert Newton about what set up to get from him and I definitely need some advice...

Try looking somewhere else; there are bunches of other brackets that will do the same thing. My small, traveling one is the StroboFrame Folding Flip Flash. My big and bulky one is Custom Brackets' Pro-M. Both will keep the flash centered over the lens in either orientation.

Thanks. I will look into those. I am getting confused by the smaller accessories that go along with each bracket... It is making me loathe giving up my basic Stroboframe, but it is too small for my 5D with grip. I do weddings so I need something that is going to work well!

Jon, come one. Don't make it so simple. if they all just did the same thing competition would not be as it is and there wouldn't be so many opinionated people.

Not sure, but something may have happened to Robert Newton, as I just tried to call and the line does not answer. Will try again later this week.

OMG.... His site is down... Thats not good. I hope all is well. I just spoke to him a few days ago too.

OP: If you are by chance already in the RRS system you might find the Perfect Portraiture Package very alluring. I did and ended up going with that solution and like it so far. Am working on a review for it as I type this and will have it up hopefully shortly in the Flash and lighting section.

I sent a note to Robert and got this reply this AM:

"John, thanks for the heads up. Go Daddy has moved my site to a new server and as usual this has created a problem that must be fixed. I am going through this now so I hope to have everything resolved soon. But if you had not contacted me I would not have known this. I tried my site this weekend after they told me they had done this and it worked so I assumed everything was OK. But obviously they are not. So thanks again.
Robert"

So I guess all is OK and his site should be up shortly...

I'm glad John posted an update...I called Robert Newton this morning, but had not been able to get to a computer until 12 hours later!
