I can see you were shooting from the opposite deck??... I'm guessing with a 100mm or more??... if this was the case I'm wondering why you didnt use your 15mm and shoot them on the side you were on??... if you look at photo #3 the guy and girl photogs on the deck, that is how I would have shot this type of skate session... there is no time or room for flash stands, you have to be able to move around the deck and use a hand held fill flash.... I loved that you captured the photogs as well.... Canon 40D / sigma 8mm /sigma 15mm / 17-40L / 70-200 /420ex
