Love the lighting, love the color balance, and I think she's at a pretty good angle. After I noticed all that, though, I noticed "uncomfortable mouth"... which is something I usually see when someone's trying to smile and not show braces. She has the dimpled chin-skin thing going on, and I get the same thing if I'm forcing my mouth closed too hard.

However, if this is how she usually smiles, you can't help that!

Oh....and you could photoshop the one stray hair that's going down in between her eyebrows.
Good job :)

Very well done. Almost a Mona Lisa smile. The coloring is beautiful and the eyes about perfect.

Love it love the eyes and love how the hair fades into the backgound on the right. May I ask what lens you used?

The lighting is fantastic, and the eyes are just gorgeous! My only minor nit is the few stray hairs across her forehead....an easy fix though. :)

Thank you for your nice comments and feedback. I didn't didn't notice the stray hair at first but see exactly what you mean- I agree, it will look better once I remove that. :) LOL re:uncomfortable mouth- she was going for serious and trying not to laugh. Must be a teenager thing ;)

Thank you! This was taken outdoors at around 7pm when the sun was beginning to lower in the sky. The sun was straight on in the direction of her right eye. I used a black fabric draped over a kennel fence next to the house. I used a 30D with the 50mm 1.8 lens ISO 250, SS 1/400, AV 4.0 shot in AV mode no flash. Hope that helps.
