So, I was at a friends wedding Friday. Just another guest in the pew. They had 2 photogs running around a very small chapel. throughout the entire ceremony all I could here is the beep, beep, beep coming from the camera's:mad:

Is is just me, or does this drive you nuts too. These 2 "professionals" should not NEED the beeps, and should know that it can be heard by others....Just seemed un-professional to me.

Smaller rant, maybe a hang over from my medium format days, but do you really need to shoot 500 frames during the ceremony????

Sorry, rant mode off:)

I agree, they should turn off the beeps. But, depending on the length of the ceremony.. why should it matter how many they take? i can see why it would be irritating if it beeped 500 times.. :)

I am super cool n' stuff.

Yep, beeped the whole time. As a photog I get wanting to get "THE Shot" but honestly, even aside from the beep, the constant flashing, and running around of the photogs was very distracting. I shot many weddings back in my film days. I always tried to blend in as much as possible and only get "in the way" when I had to, and even then, get in and get out. The poor video shooter for this wedding, two photogs running all over the frame....

Oh well sorry, maybe its just me....But I did not even notice the photog during my own wedding ceremony.

Then again this is SLC where we have more wedding photogs per capita then ANYWHERE else:rolleyes:
