From people who follow these things, the boat was built sometime in the 50's it is the largest riverboat still in operation and it holds about 450, comfortably. Some actually do live aboard it and go where it goes, year round. Must be nice, heh? Enjoy...
This is from across the river on Pettibone Island, shooting into the sun. I had to use the Tokina, cause even the 70-200 was to narrow at 1/4 mile to get it all in one frame. This sucker is huge. No filters with me either. I desaturated and then used Edit/Fade to about 54%...
