Can these items really stand any amount of abuse? I mean, i know you get what you pay for. But i see quite a few people using these. I know their tripods are a 50/50, but very little complaints from the stands and softbox departments.

Second part to my question, if not amnova, then who is better quality for a little bit more money?

Seen here;

Thanks!

I'm not endorsing Amvona light stands but did want to point out that shipping is free for orders over $100.

I hought quite a few items from amvona, they all hold up well so far. I bought all of them through their eBay auction, the eBay price is lot lower than website, even though they charge $12-20 to ship the SB and light stands.

Here's sample of what $150 can do for me from amvona, shipping included: 20x16' muslin--$30, 36x48" sofbox --$52, all metal 9' lightstand with casters (part of the reflector holder kit, reflector arm not shown)--$70.

Unfortunately, Lotto, Amvona has cut WAY back on their eBay activity. The golden age of Amvona bargains seems to be gone for good. Nowadays, it's rare to find an Amvona item on eBay that you might actually want.
