I have a bunch of old negatives I want to scan. I'm using an Epson 1260 with Photoshop but this takes forever.

Anybody have a faster way to process strips of negatives?

Any help or suggestions appreciated.

Define "forever" ;)

I have a Nikon Coolscan V (external link), which is rather quick, and I'd think delivers better IQ then the epson.

Delivers a 4000 dpi (true res) scan in under a minute.

Forever = much more time than I thought. :)

I have about 450 shots (some probably not worth doing but difficult to know until you see it larger than the 35mm neg). It takes about a minute or so for each negative so we're talking a full 8 hour day minimum using the negative scanner that I have.
