I def. like this setup Ben. I can see how you would need the longer cord to go portrait. I have the coil cord which makes it much easier when rotating to portrait mode. Thanks for taking the time to post these. I really appreciate it.

i love this set up because it is very easy to carry around and easy to take them out and pack up (only 2 pieces)

and if i don't want to have wire around, i can also use it with ST-E2 for wireless to control Quantum Flash.

Yes I do. The way mine's setup is that I have the off shoe camera cord connected to the hot shoe of my camera. Then I have the PC sync cord connected to the side of the camera and than connected to the PW. This way I can trigger another 580 EX II from the other side of a room.

B&H has them. :) Works like a charm.

yes it does..hehehe... Heavy? yes if you compare to 580EX II. However, i get used to it.
