Ever taken a picture of an insect that has passed? Is that considered cheating? Thoughts please, as I am just curious if there's a rule?

Also took some images of a dying black house spider as well about a year or so ago - had never managed a good set of them prior to that. Poor thing, I couldn't do anything to help it...
