What case do you store your PW's (and accessories)? Right now I'm using a SoniCare men's electric razor case, but I'm looking to "upgrade" and hoping to get some ideas from the fine folks on the forum here...

I just throw them into my bag. Those buggers can take a beating. Even bending the antenna is no problem... it's just a copper coil.

Nice foam inserts for that Pelican Micro - Where'd you get the foam?

Expect the Pocket Wizards are a bit larger and have that antenna sticking out of them...

it came in a pretty big peice and i hacked it to fit my aluminum case

Yeah - I have a Pelican Micro 1020 and it definitely doesn't fit two PW Plus II's unfortunately. That LowePro is little bulky though...

PWII's are pretty sturdy. I keep them in the boxes they came in sometimes, but when I travel and need them, they just get put into the bag. But I've used washed white socks sometimes.

I use the pouches that my EX Speedlite flashes came with. I can fit two units in a 550EX/580EX pouch.

Just throw them into the bag. If im traveling i MAY use an old felt shoe bag or socks or maybe a toiletries bag from an airline lol but normaly they go unprotected and they are fine.

How about a soft pencil pouch. I saw some at Target on sale for $2.50 each. I can fit 2 PWII's in one pouch. It zips closed.

My PWs have flown hundreds of thousands of miles as both carry-on and checked equipment , never packed in their own case.

I make sure my gear is packed tightly. By packing gear tightly it has no room to 'float' and get damaged, and this holds true for most equipment. PWs are fairly durable and don't need a lot of padding.
