very nice shots ken, looks like it was a fun day out
Thanks Gary
It was a fantastic day there was so much going on all at the same time, so you didn't know what look at or photograph first.

Hi Ken
Some very interesting shots there. I'm assuming that you are using the 1D MkIII for these. It would be helpful to me (and I'm sure others) if we could see the EXIF data. It really helps with the learning curve to see what settings work best. For example, what settings did you use when tracking moving racers, the lens, exposure scheme, single or multiple frame + rate.
I'm tempted to make the trip to exercise my kit a bit more. This is what our pro-Canons are built for!
Thanks Luke, you are correct and I must admit that I always like to look at the Exif details, when viewing others work. You have prompted me in to looking into the settings of the gallery software and see if I can turn the Exif detail on
.
You were right in your assumption, it was indeed the 1Dmk3 and I look my 24-105L f4 for close shots, for the long shots I used my 100-400L zoom. The track shots were Tv mode, 1/250-1/320 and AI servo, centre AF.
