Sorry I'm late to this party ...
CMYK black-and-white is fraught with danger, because the risk of cast is enormous. So it's best to modify the SWOP profile like this:

(Yes, I know, Custom CMYK in PS is the tool of the devil, blah blah blah ... believe me, this is a damn good way of doing things)
Here is my effort:

(untagged CMYK, so will display terribly/not at all)
For best results, I:
1. Opened your RGB file, and duplicated it.
2. Converted one copy to SWOP CMYK (as mentioned above)
3. Loaded the above custom CMYK setting in my Color Settings
4. Converted the second copy to this "4-colour mono" CMYK. The blacks are 35,25,25,100.
(The trouble with this setting is that it kills dark colours, basically converts them to dark shades of grey. So that's why I need both versions)5. Pasted the SWOP CMYK on top of the custom CMYK (making sure the colour values remained unchanged)
6. Used a Layer Mask to reveal only the pink item from the SWOP layer.
7. Flattened
8. Saved untagged (not sure if this is the safest option, but I don't want some person or program trying to re-convert my tagged file to another form of CMYK - that would defeat the purpose, of course).
