Hey guys/girls. I did few weddings as second shooter and find myself hanging out with bridesmaids and groomsman alot while the main photog will shot the wedding couple.

How do I pose them for shots? Can you post your photos of just the bridesmaids and groomsman??? Thanks!!!

Simple ...... don't pose them !

They must be doing something natural during this time. Step away, strap on a long lens and shoot for relaxed candid shots. Weddings are great fun events full of images - they don't need photographers to set them up.

Shoot it, don't create it !

and I try to do that, but you I don't want to do that the whole time. I'd like to take some group shots of guys/girls and together. Maybe there is not much you can do with them or it's not needed to pose them alot because the focus is on the B+G...

I always tell my second shooter when they have the chance to have the bridesmaids/groomsmen do creative photos--- something funny. Use the surroundings and come up with some creative, cool, sexy, fun shots.
