Unfortunately I can't see the images from work, however I'm curious how you get on with f/5.6
I find that anything less than F11 with the 2x is just too soft.
(I shoot race bikes) I've got a 1.4 coming on Friday and from borrowing friends, they are a brilliant combo, it doesn't seem to have any impact on the IQ at all!
