quick question about the 580ex II. in auto mode, is the zoom supposed to show what focal length the shot was taken at? i accidentally put it in manual zoom mode, and so i think i returned it back to normal by rotating the scroll wheel all the way to the left (so it shows Zoom -- MM). when i put it into ETTL mode and fire, the flash only adjusts my current aperture settings but the zoom stays at Zoom -- MM. i thought that should change according to my focal length too?? what's going on? i tried shooting in P & AV modes. any ideas? thanks guys!
