Jul 30, 2008 16:15 | #4 I got it at Amazon for just over $250. It's good for the money but as TaDa said $350 is overkill. (Added: even $350 probably wouldn't be too high a price for it but it sells for less everywhere else, why overpay ?) Ex-Canon shooter. Now Sony Nex.

Jul 30, 2008 16:22 | #5 Well I guess I should have mentioned that this also includes the new lens kit with IS the 18 -55 mm. I figured I'd get this as an extra. I need a new backup camera and like all new features of the Xsi so Ithought I'd get that and use my XT as the backup...for those of you with money I know this isn't what you'd choose but it is a major purchase for me. $799 for the Xsi alone...$1099 for it and both lenses. Rebel Xsi & XT

They're absolutely awesome cameras. For a few dollars over $800, you're even looking at 40D territory Name is Peter and here is my gear:

Is this a store you'd be buying from or a web site? If it's somewhere online, would you mind sharing the link here? ONE handsome husband + THREE cute puppies + ONE 30D + THREE pieces of glass (Nifty Fifty, 18-55IS, 55-250) = ONE happy EmmyLou!

I bought it from Best buy. They have it for $329, but Best Buy and Future Shop both have customer appreciation type events, and usually give 10-20 % off. I got mine for $279 during their last sale online.
