I don't think there is anything wrong with your composition, after all, you are only photographing a car show!! I work for www.autosalon.org (external link) check it out.

Maybe it’s just me, but I was under the impression that the Critique Corner is for critiquing? I agree with Nikon, it’s a car show, where space is limited and the lighting can be difficult.

P.S. I really like #4, nice pics

Nice shots. Car shows are particularly difficult to shoot. Bad lighting and highly polished cars are not a match made in photography heaven. I agree with "NJDrew", #4 is a good'un. :)

yea..i do agree i need to work on framing my subject. I do need to get a better tripod though. One of the legs is broken so it wobbles a bit and wont extend.

Is that a real Gallardo?

13B can only mean one thing. Do you own one? I have a highly modified 13B sitting in my driveway right now. It's very streetable except that it can only go about 8K miles between rebuilds.

I agree with the others regarding the critique, too. This is the photo sharing section. If 13B wanted the photos critiqued, he would have posted there.

Thanks for sharing. Keep them coming.

The Gallardo is a 5-litre V10, but I'd still have one ;)

Well I guess if someone wanted to give me one I'd accept it... but only so I could sell it and buy a decent car. Lamborghini make tractors for gawds sake... how can anyone take a sports car manufacturer that makes agricultural machinery seriously? "Oooh-aaahhrrr I be farmer Giles an' 'ere be my Lambo trac'or" :p

Last time I saw a Lambo (Diablo) on a race track against other cars was on the Silverstone GP circuit and it was being beaten up by an Elise. I kid you not. The front running Ferrari had lapped it within about 6 laps.

Porsche used to make Tractors, infact many would argue that they still do. :D

13B Car shows are great places to look at cars, but horriable places to photogragh them, I think you did a great job.
