I just purchased a set of Elinchrom D-Lite 2 strobes. They worked fine the first time I used them, but now I can't get them to fire on low power. They do just fine when I bump up the power.

I'm a little clueless right now. I've been trying to troubleshoot to no avail... have my camera on manual, the sync cord plugged into the main light, and I have the other on slave. Any ideas??? I'm not extremely experienced with studio lights... perhaps there is something obvious I haven't thought of??

Thanks,

Maya

My first thought would have been call thier customer service. Even on a bad day they are probably faster than a forum. Sorry I cant help you more.

Same problem occurred with one of my D-lites when I first got them. It was a fault with the triggering circuit - I got it repaired fairly quickly under warranty.
