....whats up with the dunce cap on the short guy in the middle.

Glad somebody caught on that:lol:. It is a mark on the airplane that happened to fit perfectly, resembling a dunce cap (A cone-shaped paper hat placed on the head of lazy pupils).
So I left it there as a hint.
As Rad did, I checked the OP's site, and going by his portfolio, his use of PS portrays to be more than it was stated ("cuase your knowledge is obviaosely more then mine").
So, it looks to be more a case of laziness than lack of knowhow.

Background off with "Quick Selection Tool" = 7 to 10 minutes
Dunce cap = Priceless

;):)

It's curious. In the original post the poster asks that 'somebody help this sailor out' but, judging by his web site, he is a full-time professional photographer. I agree with Tom in the last post - this seems like plain laziness; which makes his initial request even cheekier!

His website bio states "I am also currently in the United States Navy. I love it, and plan on being in for a while."

So, two full times.

wow, lol, i had n o idea this would go this route, i am familur with selection, i can do selective coloring, and everything i pointed out on my website, how ever i have never done a big group like this with aircraft and all the other distractions in it, its not very hard to take a girl out of a back round, but i found the group to be a bit harder, and also being away from home, i don't have my mac computer with all my good tools on it, i have my pc laptop, so i asked some fellow photogs for some help. is that a crime, when did people become so stuck up, that one man couldn't help another. i thought thats what this forum was for, trust me i have learned my lesson, i need something on the fly and asked my fellow man for a favor, wont happen again on this forum, good day to you all.

Hey Bill,
You will find the quick selection tool is your great friend. Any cleanup after that will be pretty easy. This is, I think, new to CS3 and a great tool.
