I just finished shooting a tournament for my local LL and did a skills competition. During the home run derby thing, I wasn't prepared for the baseballs to roll around and lie there, and it ruined a couple of shots. Is it unethical to just edit out a stray ball lying on the ground between feet for shots for parents?

I think you're thinking about this way too much.

How exactly could editing out a baseball be unethical? I don't get it.

Just do it and don't worry about it.

If you do it well, they will never know the ball was there in the first place.

Nobody will care about that as long as you do a good job of it - it isnt journalism.

Thanks. There was a run of posts of editing in journalistic type press on the sports forum, so I wasn't sure if this was more of the same or not. I appreciate the feedback.
