Thoughts on this image...obvousely its quite a bit larger 12"x45" but I would like some oponions as to what to do to make it look a little nicer!

You already have a great flow, and a really interesting subject, you just need those colors to stand out, and get that 'wow' effect. Great job so far! conkeroo Senior Member 308 posts Joined Apr 2008 More info | I think I'd create a couple of layers in PS, mask out the wakeboarder and change the curves to darken the background, it just looks a little washed out. You'll probably have to desaturate the blue channel for the water because the curves edit might make it a little too blue. Other than that, its a great shot.

The greens in the water and especially the trees in the background look way under saturated. The shot really needs more color. Also, while it's a bit hard to tell from the smaller size here, I think I would add a little more sharpening too...a little extra USM. LeuceDeuce Goldmember 2,362 posts Joined Oct 2007 Location: Vancouver BC, Canada More info | I'm surprised that no one has mentioned the stitching artifacts so I will... you have stitching artifacts on the left and right of the boarder 3rd from the left. Adding "pop" to the image may bring those out even more so be sure to go over the area with some cloning/patching. my website: Light & Shadow
