Here are some shots from Manny's last game with the Redsox.

Had to get the section I was in to chant to get NESN's Heidi Watney to stand up so I could get this shot.

Tried my best to minimize the shadows around her eyes. Bad lighting. Any ideas how to deal with the shadows would be great.

Thanks for having a look and any CC would be great.

try taking an HDR, just set aeb and put camera on burst. If you have a 40D it usually works fine

hdr would not work here.

If you have a camera with a high burst rate you can do HDR handheld for a posing subject. at 6.5fps you can get three pics in under 0.5 seconds.

Now if you are saying that an HDR wouldn't have helped with the eyes? Maybe, maybe not. but I don't think it would have hurt.

Poor Euk, he gets banged up more than any player I've seen!
I might get to see Manny play in person now - Dodger Stadium is only 100 some-odd miles away. Dodgers set a new record for ticket sales in a 24 hour period when it was announced that Manny would be playing there now!

Thanks for posting.

Dan
