160ws outside or in a gym is not going to do it. In a studio setting 160ws could work for your subject area lighting without a problem.

I'm trying to find out about using strobes in a gym. And of course I know the low powered options won't work in a gym. That's why I used that particular figure, because it's absurdly low. What I'm trying to find out is what will work. I realize this may be a frustrating question to address, but I don't know how to ask it any differently. What information am I not giving you?
