I've been lurking on these forums for a while and managed to get a lot of good info. I just got my 40D -w- 24-105L last thursday coming from an S5IS. So far I absolutely love the camera and lense. Thanks to my daughter's extensive Littlest Pet Shop collection I was able to find a subject for my obligatory "duck shot". So thank you to all who helped me make an informed decision and I look forward to many more pictures and posts with you guys. I hope I did this right, first time posting a pic.

Nice combo btw. Guess the next logical step would be EF-s 10-22.
