Hi everyone, sorry if this is the wrong place to put this , please let me know if so. Today my flying club hosted its 5th Rc Float event, and i was lucky enough to invite some one out with a wonderful model of the HMS Surprise. keep in mind this ship is about 7+ foot long and wieghts 110 pounds. It was built from a kit. Please comment, the processing works for me but id like to know what you think. i have alot more close-ups if anyone is interested. thanks for looking. enjoy

I think you've quite nicely captured what has to be one of the finest R/C models (of any kind) I've ever seen...

Please, please, please post more!

I miss those clever boat names. If today they had a plane, or tank, or boat called the "Surprise", rest assured I would not want to mess with it.

I like the mini-series, though the second photo appeals to me a lot more. The reflections and details, specifically. (With a straight horizon and no trees in the back, it could confuse a few people).

Let's do leave this particular conveyance of the list of things named "Suprise." ;)

Nice pictures !
One word for the builder : RESPECT !
I know for a fact how hard it is, I love RC models, (air sea land I like them all) I build some stuff myself but I am in no means good enough to build a scale model. And this, this is a wonderful scale model. I just can't get it how people can do this, sometimes even makes me a little sad, I want to be able to do that and I just can't ...

That took a lot of work! Good shots of it, but I'd like to see less depth of field & a lower angle.
