The other week my wife had a conference up in the Dallas area, and our hotel turned out to be right in the landing path of DFW airport. American Airlines--along with a few others that weren't immediately recognizable--were a regular sight overhead all weekend. I couldn't resist the opportunity, and ended up taking far too many shots. The two following are two of my favorites. I think the second is a better shot, with better colors and a better reflection from the setting sun, but the first is better framed (no crop) and much sharper. The third shot is just to give context to the first two (which I shot from the roof). I've never shot airliners before, so any C&C and assorted advice would be very welcome.

I think the first one is really nice, it has the nicer sun reflection. The glint of the front wheel is nice too.

Thanks for the input, guys. I've been out of town for the past week and haven't had a chance to check in. I'm not ignoring you. :)

Hopefully, I'll have some new stuff to share in the next few days...

I like #2...and #3 is a great change from a typical aviation shot.
