i never used to understand what you US guys saw in this kind racing - but having just got back from Florida and having been Dayton and seen the Richard Petty guys going round ive come round to it. The sound is pure sex.

I am a US'er, and felt the same way until I went to the Brickyard back in '97. The sound alone made me a fan, but to see how fast those cars actually go in person and the roar from wide open motors is something you can't explain, and something that TV can never even begin to copy. After 3 laps I was hooked! Until you see it live, you simply can't comprehend the speed or the power of that sound. It's incredible!!

Great Shots by the way!!! Too bad you saw a tough day for tires at the Brickyard. Goodyear had their tail between their legs that day!!
