On the 1st Friday of the Month, Milan Dragway hosts a Heads-up race. Great action with some of the fastest cars from around Michigan, Ohio and Illinois come to compete. Low to mid 6 second cars..........

Excellent shots!! You don't see many big end shots like these. Very cool point of view with the shutes popping. I bet you could sell some of these to the drivers. I like # 2 best, just a slightly different angle, it shows a little bit more of the side of the car.
Heres one of mine I took a few years ago, different angle here.

Excellent angle...... Way cool look just as the chute was pulled and before it fully opened. Milan has a 500' rule, just like the NHRA, so I would need to either use a ladder or setup a camera on a tripod and remote trigger it........

I took this one at an 1/8 mile track, they had some stands set up near the end of the track that I took this from. I had just started learning to pan and got lucky.

Jimken......... Not lucky, you were in the right location at the right time. That is a big factor in shooting drag racing....... :)
