I can't seem to get the focus sharp and from time to time I see a blue halo or chromatic aberration like below. Maybe its time to move up to some serious "L" telephoto glass. The first thing I see is that a shutter speed of 1/125 is generally to slow for focal length of 390mm. For your crop body your shutter speed should be more like 1/600 to hand hold. The CA may be inherent to the lens; shooting in situations that don't include such direct sunlight will probably help that.
