It's a bit out of focus and I have no idea what he's doing / what kind of animal that is, so the message just isn't getting across.

I'm really not into shearing sheep, but if that's your thing, then sure, make yourself a poster. 16x20 is a not too big/not too small size.

:D No, it's not my thing :D

Never seen it done before so it's a new experience for me, I came in on the last 15 or so sheep out of around 380, next year I will document the whole process from start to finish.

I wanted to get an old world, hands on effect type of look, a little bit raw, people using their hands in tough environments, was just looking for some pointers.

As your not into sheep  anybody else have any pointers.

Thanks for the size though, I'll keep that in mind.

Thanks

Steve

2 is the better picture but might not be what your after, i would probably crop a little of the right just to tidy it up. Its a funny picture cause the sheep looks to be in an awkward position but kinda has a funny expression on its face, almost like a smile.

When I first saw It i didn't like the fact i could see the outline of the guys briefs on his trousers/pants, i didn't think briefs existed any more, but then again that adds to the old world feel.

The thing about that image is the sheep is the what the view is drawn too and not necessarily the workman.
