I just joined a local photography club that gets together once every week or 2 and goes to events and shoots, next weekend we are shooting a boat drag race, which should be really cool to shoot, and on the 30th a local fire station is giving us private access to their fire station and firefighters for photo shoots, we are going to make them a calendar with the shots. bbqKing wrote in post #6072657 I'm about 8 miles southeast of Norman

There has been a few tries to have a get together but i think everyone is so widespread that it never seems to work

Aug 11, 2008 14:52 | #14 I just joined a local photography group that goes out to events together and shoots, they often get exclusive access to different events, you are more than welcome to join if you'd like, you would just have to drive. DF50 wrote in post #6074877 Congrats on the granddaughter! As far as get togethers go I'm always looking for some company while i'm out shooting. You should have lots of op's there in Green Country.
