Well I've been shooting for a year in a half now, and have never had a single splatter shot to be proud of...well I finally got one. The majority of Gary Baums splatter shots blow this one out of the water, but I'm still really happy with it : )

8 ) This one didn't come out the way I wanted, considering its OOF, but I shot it from the opposite side of the field of these players right as the game began. It was intense with people shooting directly at you.

Oh yeah, and the second game of the day I took a shot to my 1D. I didn't even notice until the game was over that my second body got shot. I started to clean it up and then realized I needed to document the carnage!

Lookin good, are the pics above with the 1d or 1d2? Coincidentally i am missing my eyecup for my viewfinder as well. A field owner called me the other day and said she found it in the scenario field.

cool shots! Paintball is intense; many a time I've woken up with welts in places I didn't even know I got shot...so are you sanctioned by them to take promo shots, or is this out of your own leisure?

Thanks guys, all the photos here are from my 1D Mark II, I didn't feel like using both bodies considering how I was getting hit a lot more then usual. On both sides of the tape the back players kept shooting mid bunkers making the paint bounce to the sidelines hitting me and the refs through out the entire day. I actually disliked the eye cups so I took them off:P

Dan- I am either contracted through the event to take photos of the entire event or I am contracted by the individual team to take photos of them for the entire event. I charge $50 a team and usually get 8-12 teams depending on the size of the event:)

Great shots Jimmy. I had that bunker bounce experience at NEPL Sunday when the tapeline was wayyyy too close - the guys shooting snake were bouncing shots right into us all day.

Thanks, it's a 24-70 2.8 L I was doing a team portrait when that photo was taken.

And Dan, don't you hate that? I got shot more in the first two games then I did at the entire tournament a few weeks ago:/

It sucks. They sting, not like a direct hit but pretty good, and when you have someone shooting tape (bad, I might add) into the bunker in front of you...you can take a number of those little devils.

I also had a snake player hit his trigger as he bumped up and bounced one off my kata bag. Thank god for that.

Hmm you look unusually old for being 2 years older than me.

I should go out and do some sports shooting.

Ha I don't think I look that old for being 17 eh I dunno I guess I look at myself every day:/

I basically clean my camera using a microfiber cloth and a rocket blaster. No damage has been done (yet:P)
