Glendalough, Ireland

The name Glendalough means "glen of the two lakes". This is a shot of the Upper Lake, taken last week.
Glendalough is situated in Co. Wicklow and is an early Christian monastic site. It is a much-visited port of call for tourists.

you got a beautiful soft and dreamy look about the scene

its a difficult one to photograph because of the way the land rises to different heights on either side of the lake causing great shadows and darkness in places and bright light in others.
its lovely
